Cooking Class, But Make It Fun

If you haven’t met Kerrie from Port Macquarie Cooking Classes yet—get ready to fall in love (with her & her food). She’s bubbly, warm, and wildly knowledgeable when it comes to whipping up healthy, delicious meals in a jiffy. I popped in recently for a photography shoot, and in less than two hours, I learned more about cooking than I have in the last decade!

Watch, Learn, Laugh, Eat

This isn’t your usual hands-on cooking class. Kerrie does the cooking, and you get to sit back, relax, soak up the nutrition know-how, and then eat all the good stuff. She knows you are the one usually cooking the tucker at home so this is your turn to be waited on. She teaches you how to prep several healthy meals at once—perfect for busy people who still want to eat well. Think: delicious nutritious food, fast.

The Food? Fresh, Fast, & Full of Flavour

Everything Kerrie made smelled incredible and tasted even better. We’re talking vibrant, wholesome dishes packed with flavour and nourishment. I may have “accidentally” tried everything twice. Strictly for quality control. I'm totally guilty of sticking to the same meals at home and the same ingredients week after week. But Kerrie has opened my eyes to new ingredients - quinoa flakes (this bogan had never heard of them) and fennel seeds to name a few of my new pantry staples.

A Word About the Hippy Juice

Look, I’m all for gut health (actually that's a lie I drink way too much wine for that), but one of the cleansing drinks Kerrie served up had some class members reaching politely for their water bottles. Some loved it. Some pretended to love it. Either way, we survived—and Kerrie didn’t even flinch after-all this isn't her first rodeo with liquorice root.

Coming Up: Eating for Menopause

Next on my calendar? Kerrie’s Eating for Menopause class. If anyone can make perimenopause a fun and exciting topic, it's Kerrie. I’m weirdly pumped (and also showing my age and fastly dropping estrogen levels).

Whether you're time-poor, food-curious, or just want to eat better without overthinking it—book yourself into one of her classes:
