The Monthlies

The Monthlies (because why be dull when naming events) are our monthly Sunday catch-ups for The Shutter Sisterhood—a chance to slow down, catch up with friends, meet new members and enjoy time with women who get it.


Each month we will gather at a beautiful location in Port Macquarie or someplace nearby. Think garden party picnic vibes, white linen tablecloths blowing in the breeze, spring flowers, tea, coffee, chai and delicious cakes.


These are relaxed, social gatherings with no agenda—just good conversation, plenty of laughs and a chance to fill your cup. Bring your camera, grab a sister or two and head off for a photo walk or simply sit and chat.

The Details

  • 10:00am – 11:30am
  • $25 per person
  • Includes tea, coffee, hot choc or chai, plus yummy cakes
  • A lucky-door prize
  • Held once a month on a Sunday (outside NSW school holidays)
  • No Monthly in December (because life!)

Cancellation Policy

IN SUMMARY...NO REFUNDS!

My days of being an Accountant are over, I don't want to spend my Sundays reconciling bookings and processing refunds. All bookings for The Monthlies are NON-REFUNDABLE and can't be transferred to a future event.


If you can't make it you can:

  • Gift it to another Shutter Sister.
  • Pay it forward in our Facebook group. Maybe that person buys you a ticket to the next event?
  • Sell it (make a profit!)
  • Give it to your Uncle Bob... he can wear a dress and attend (we are a women's group, anyone identifying as a woman can join in).
  • The options are endless... just don't involve me. 😂


If someone else ends up with your ticket, simply tell them to give me your name when they check in. Thanks for helping keep The Hood fun, simple and accounting free!
