Join Kris from Kristen Shaw Photography & The Shutter Sisters (sounds like a funky 80’s band) for a fun afternoon/evening wandering the streets of Port Macquarie playing with shutter speed. We will be freezing action, blurring movement, learning the art of intentional camera movement (ICM), making creative street photography images and hanging out with likeminded women who love photography.

If you're shooting on Auto, Kris will show you how to use Shutter Speed Priority Mode (without making your brain hurt). If you've completed Kris's Get Off Auto course, this is the perfect refresher on shutter speed, with loads of hands-on practice and very little sitting around listening to Kris waffle — although I know you secretly love that. Or, if you're a fully capable photographer and just want to hang out with all the cool cats in The Hood, take some pics, play around with ICM and have a bloody good time — come! Photography can be a lonely game. The Hood is all about women connecting, taking photos, making new friends and having fun!

All experience levels welcome. As always, Kris is an open book and happy to answer any questions. Best suited to DSLR, mirrorless cameras, or a camera that can shoot on Shutter Speed Priority Mode.

Within 7 days: No refunds or transfers — by then the admin train has left the station and all the behind the scenes work is done! 🚂😂 But I'm happy for you to sell or give your ticket away. Just handle the swap yourself (I’m trying not to become a ticketing department 😂) and ask the new person to let me know on the day.
